The Mindless, Mineless, Mine tour!

I had seen a poster in Drumheller the last time I was there and was so intrigued, I took a picture and sent it to Dean... only problem it was only on Sunday and Wednesday nights... it's a long drive to Drumheller on a "school Night" so I didn't know if it work out. Long story short.... we ended up going on the long weekend when Monday was a holiday, so we were all set to be spooked out of our minds, going on a ghost walk tour in a MINE!
The setting was great, as we waited for our tour guide to finish her day, and start the tour.
We were getting suspicious at this time... there were some frightening clues that led us to believe this wasn't what we thot???
so we start on our journey, at 7pm in the summer, it's pretty bright outside.... not so scray at all.....
but we went into the wash house, there was apparently some good ghost stories in here, it was kinda creepy with all the hooks and coats hanging from the ceiling. Note that the camera is very good in the dark... so this room actually had no lights or sunlight in here, it was quite dark, with creepy things hanging from the ceiling, so imagine it dark.
The mine itself is kinda ominous... looming over the yard like a big arm ready to scoop up unwanted visitors....
the line of old mine cars.... the "graveyard " if you will.....
Big Bertha, she had a big death count under her belt. Psychics said she was painted red, but in reality she was battleship gray. Could it have been all the blood on her that made her look like she was painted red...??
different part of the cart graveyard....
and back to the mine...... oh right! I forgot about the mine pictures..... there aren't any... :-( why you ask? was it because we weren't allowed? Did I run out of card space? or battery? NO!!! there are no mine pictures... because we DID NOT GO INTO the mine???!!! Talk about lunchbag letdown!!!!!
I  was so disappointed :-( Dean said the only thing scary was the money flying out of his pocket.... so I was hoping that the burger I had in Drumheller last time would appease Dean and he would forgive me for dragging him all the way to Drumheller for a Mineless ghost mine tour. As we were driving he said is it in a restaurant or a pub? I answered a pub. Then it hit us , maybe it won't be open on a Sunday? this would not have gone over well!!
but it was open! Whew! We ordered a bud light lime, and the waitress said there was only one left, I quickly said, give it to Dean.... lol
the burger was amazing :-) and he has forgiven me....
here is the evil poster... nothing would have been creepier than a cold dark mine tour... but nope we were outside in the daylight, listening to stories of mine accidents.... grrrrrrr so as we said when we left..... we went so you Don't Have TO!!!
