Once again we were mesmerized by the new Star Trek movie.... When Katie's in town we usually take in a movie, this year it was Star Trek, We went in expecting it to be great and it didn't disappoint  I LOVED it, the characters are awesome, the story was great, the villain was mean as Hell, and after it was over, I could have sat thru it again! Soooo good! We came home and watched the first one again lol, ok, when is production of the next one?

Every now and then there is a "funny" that hits your funny bone and Makes you Lol for days!!! This is mine..... and not everybody will get it..... but those who do..... GET IT!!! and they will laugh like me .....

So, Katieface was supposed to arrive in Calgary at 10:40 thru Edmonton, BUT I got a text saying the flight was delayed..... By 7 hours!!!!!!!???? So she is trapped there, it's 3? Ish hours from us, so we are headed on a rescue mission Northbound!!!! Caped crusaders on our way......

Unexpected Target Visit - First Impressions.

I went to new a new client today.  The location just happened to be near a Target that had just opened so I visited out of curiosity.  The first thing you see as soon as you walk in is a Starbucks.  Excellent start! I went straight to the Coke aisle to see if I could find Diet Coke with Lime.  Disappointed.  For some reason, Canada only has Coke, Coke Zero and Diet Coke.  In the states at Target, they have every flavour known to man.  Cherry coke, vanilla coke, cherry vanilla coke, and every other flavour you can imagine is available in the states.  I was hoping that Target would bring that type of variety here.  Not yet.

In their frozen food section, the light in the freezers come on when you approach which is cool.  I made it to the Bluray section where I was pleasantly surprised by their $10 section. Nice!

We always like going to Target in the states so it is nice to be able to go to one here.  But please Target bring in some Diet Coke with Lime!

Jack is BACK!

We are thrilled that Jack Bauer will return in May 2014!

Fox officially announced Monday that its reviving its high-octane drama “24” for a 12-episode limited run, which is set to roll out next summer.
“24: Live Another Day” will reunite executive producer Howard Gordon, who went on to find success with Showtime’s “Homeland,” with Mr. Jack Bauer himself, Kiefer Sutherland.
“It’s great to have Jack back. ‘24’ redefined the drama genre, and as we re-imagine the television miniseries, this iconic show will again break new ground for the network,” network Chairman Kevin Reilly said in a statement. “The series remains a global sensation, and everyone at Fox is thrilled to be back at work with Kiefer, Howard and the incredibly creative ‘24’ team.”

Anyway, I wanted to add the story of when Selena hit on Scully.

The years have been very kind to Gillian Anderson.  Very, very kind.  The X-files ended in 2002 and Scully looks better and younger in person than she ever did on the show.  Well, Selena noticed this just had to tell her.  We came around the corner for our photo op and Scully was so enthusiastic and friendly.  Selena blurted out, "You're GORGEOUS!"   It was a very funny moment. And that's today's Lost Blog.

Mommy's day

Me and Maddie headed to Nanton this morning off on our adventure, first stop was a kewl train museum, tracks were set up to go thru a mountain and villages, so neat, one train had mini people in it. Then we found a miniature museum, another awesome find! It was amazing inside!!! Now we are antiquing around the town, check back soon. Happy Mommy's day :-)
