Gorillas and birds

So the other day Dean and I were talking about the blog, and I said " I want a picture of that truck with the gorilla in it" so today Dean sends me a picture!! Wow talk about ask and you shall receive!! 

Lol funny thing about this truck- I still don't know what they are advertising!!!' So then later in the day, more wildlife come into play, Carolyn texts from the store that a bird flew into the store!!! Lol they went over to Petland and asked one of the guys that worked there to help. So he trucks over with net in hand.... 

He chases the bird and Carolyn squeals, he chases the bird some more, and Carolyn squeals some more, 2 hours later, the bird is in hand!! 

Nice job Petland guy!!!!

Scared little birdy! Must be tired..... I wonder if the door is closed at the store now? Lol and that was the wildlife day in our world today!! 

Global fest France

Tonight we found our seat, set up a game and waited for the fireworks to start. Tonight is France- can't wait. It's a beautiful night, and the show is about to begin......

We had a spectacular view! The moon was in the background and the reflection off the lake was like having a double show! We saw a firework we've never seen before, hard to explain but the inner part of the explosion almost looked .... Fluffy?! Wickedly kewl anyway! We got to see Maddie and Jen working at the popcorn stand! Kettle creek kettle corn, so yummy!!! Now we have to wait a week for the finale! Awesome night! Saw Jeanne and Rick there too!

We went to the Symons valley market today- it was busy! So good to see! We are loving getting our fresh fruits and veggies from there! And today I remembered to take a picture!

Shark Week

Omg! Has anyone else got caught up in this bizarreness?? We Have been watching our fair share of Shark movies, it started with a Baaaaaad one..... Sharknado. And then went bad to worse..... so much more worse that it made Sharknado look like an academy award winner!! This gem was called Two Headed Shark Attack! But we ended with a shark movie, that was actually like a real movie... good editing, people you recognized, and some good shark footage, not something that looks I filmed it in my kitchen sink! The good one was Shark Night. It was an amusing ride! And we can say we participated, but next year...... I am avoiding two headed sharks.... like the plague that it is!!!

Around the Hat

We went for a walk yesterday, down a super steep hill, and then back up some crazy amount of stairs! Funny thing was the stairs had inspirational words in them! You need that, there were sooo many stairs! Me and Nana went into town to Scrapbook central, and cruise some other stores, we went to a clothing store called Twinkle Dolls, OMG! When I lose weight- I'm going back to shop there!!! Bling jeans- funky clothes- and EVERY piece of clothing had bling on it! Last night an old friend of Deans came by, that was fun. We made a pact, to meet up at Comicon next year!  Today Papa is on a mission to make the perfect ribs. We are chillin in the "bushenschank" including Lucky who is in his glory. Meanwhile in Canmore at the popcorn booth where Maddie is working - it's raining :-(

My bug lost power!

We were on way to the Hat, filled the car with gas- loaded up - packed up Lucky, and headed on our way, but then the car lost power? Wouldn't go faster than 80:-( so I'm not sure what's going on? We went back home and switched vehicles, and started the journey again. We're an hour away, but I had to share the view from my side mirror...
