Nana had a professional photographer come to the cabin and get some family pictures taken by the water, and around the cabin. We had to go into town to pick up the pictures, so we found some adventures along the way :-) This fat cat was in the hardware store, I should have bought him.... it's so cute!!
we went to the antique, and second hand stores along the way....
Papa had an onion and tomato sandwich..... but there is no bread, he used the onion slices as the outside of the sandwich!
Nana brought stuff to make pasta angels, Maddie has been wanting to make those for awhile.
Maddie's bucket list came into play here, we went strawberry picking, there weren't many left, but they were sweet!
on our way back we tried to drop in on Lisa, but they weren't "home" we were hoping this was their trailer. I hadn't seen it before, we left a note and took a pic to show we were here.
we found a great restaurant by fluke. The place we were trying to go to was closed today!

Maddie can have S'mores again! we found Marshmallow paste at the corner store, no gelatin in the jar! So she can s'more all she wants!
as always we must go to the haunted house. This year the boys were braver, so we had a bigger crew! But the sneaky boys brought props to scare the girls, they recorded the sound of firecrackers, they went downstairs while the girls stayed up, they played their recording and we screamed, we ran, and it was a very short visit!
I love when weird things happen in spooky places... Maddie's camera lens only opened half way giving us this weirdly creepy view!
the house isn't the same. Someone has trashed most of it. :-( It was much creepier when the table was set, and everything looked like someone would be right back....

a Weber style axe. After Glenn finished chopping wood he stuck the axe in the chop block, one of the boys tried to pull it out, and the handle broke off! That didn't stop Glenn tho' he just became the handle and chopped anyway!

me and Dean, the 3 of us wore red for the family picture, we were all supposed to wear different colors for each family.
Dean and Ruby got a water trampoline, now the hard part getting it to the water! Maddie and Jade rode in the back so they could hang onto it.
Chan got a new bike, so he was testing it out!
