I hate fast Zombies

Just driving home after seeing World War Z !!!!! It's awesome- starts with a bang and is intense all the way thru!!! PS we don't stand a chance if Zombies are fast!!!!!

Mucky chucks

Well it was still raining when the chucks started. And it just stopped now, if the rain stays away the grandstand show can go on - everyone cross your fingers for us!

In the meantime the chucks are plowing thru the soupy track...... The spray from the the backsplash is covering the cowboys head to toe with muck!

We had a beautiful morning for the parade, Holly and I had a great breakfast, some mimosas, and saw 700 horses! The parade was awesome, I've missed a few years but now I remember what I loved about it! Our Mascot was retired astronaut Chris Hadfield, retired days ago, Lots of famous people and a famous horse, Silver from Lone Ranger was here too!! I'll post more pics from home. But for now you get Chris and our Suoerman.....

So it's parade day here in Calgary, Holly needed the day off cause she had tickets to the parade, so what better way to guarantee her day off- invite her boss! Lol so here we are early morn, waiting for the excitement to begin,

Happy Canada Day

Ok, so today is a holiday, and somehow our Stampede shirts were delivered to us- to our doorstep - 5 business days after ordering it- the flood started on the 20th - a phrase was Thot up - and 10 days after - we have our shirts in our hands!!! And - they are beautiful!! Are you kidding me- talk about a well oiled machine!!

After we got our shirts, we went for our nightly drive.

Every night for a week, that little white bug has parked at the top of the hill, while we look down below at the progress.

Maddie's 19th Birthday!!

How quickly they grow up! My little Maddie turned 19 on Sunday! We went to Earle's for dinner. had a great meal, some laughs and then dropped the kids off so they could meet with friends and have a bon fire.

We got Maddie a cotton candy machine. I know she has no room to store stuff right now..... but she can store it at our house! :-) lol
