Tears and Joy Grad Finale'

Well Today was the final step of Maddie graduating.... all the tests are in, the lockers is cleared out and the gown is rented...... (Minus the hats as they are a weapon.....??!!??) but aside from that, it was THE best day today, from 7AM all the way til the wee hours of the morn..... but let's start here.....
9:15 the grads lined up for the yearbook picture.

A few minutes to get some pictures before heading into the church,
St. Albert the Great. Beautiful church.
Me and my Mouse.... proud moment!!
 Nicely done Kiddo :-)
Me and Kerry in the church, ( the orb shows someone visiting, I'm just sayin )
Maddie entering the church, she looks a little happy,
could be it's kicking in how big of a deal today is?
There has been so much rain lately, but today was beautiful!!
So in between the kids de-robed and ran thru the fountain....
.Mack and Maddie were first....
 AHHHH cold shot of water!!
 co cute....
In Grade 2 Maddie and Jen made time capsules.... today they got to open them.....
Kerry, Jen, Mack me Dean and Maddie went to Boston Pizza for lunch...
and we all waited to see what was inside the capsule.... Maddie had hair.... and a tooth lol
it was cute and funny to hear the thots of  7 year olds... Maddie and Jen both wanted world peace!
After lunch we headed to First Alliance Church for the graduation ceremonies...
Jen was first... wow congratz! So very proud of our girls :-)
Maddie did the happy dance across the stage, she said when she stepped on the stage it sunk in....
She gave Mr McDougal a huge hug... her favorite T.A ever!
A proud moment for both of them.
There it is in black and white....
Dianne gave me bubbles left over from her boys grad....
ladies and gentleman..... our graduates! lol They aren't so grown up after all :-)
 Maddie and Jen
Then after all the tears of joy, and hugs and congratz it was off to Jen's
for a bonfire and burning of the test papers!
all those green sheets they handed in over the years, were now just kindling
Emily came home yesterday.... just in time for grad :-)
They all told stories of something they learned or something they will miss at Carroll
"I'll miss checking in, in the morning..... even tho you hardly ever go"

 Diploma review package....
Cheers to us...... and those who need a few more months :-)

It was a fantastic day and evening.... so glad to be part of it..... and so proud of this great bunch of kids :-)
