Our work had a contest, to see which store got the most "likes" on facebook. The winner got a pizza party! .... and we won! So Dianne hosted, or I should say is hosting, as this is live.... I thot I would take a few before ( the martini's ) pic, and more after.... let the fun begin

I got glasses

Some time last year, I noticed it was harder and harder to see up close, I was always pulling things farther away from my face to focus.... sometimes when I scrapbook I can't get far enuff away so I have to stand... this just wasn't cutting in my scrappin world. So I went to see the eye doctor, and I told him my problem. He looked at my age on the chart, and said "ya, you lasted longer than most" great....lol getting old is great.... but then I got to pick out these really kewl glasses... so I guess there is a silver lining, or in this case, a purple one!

Okay this must be a record low on the ole' blog posts!! I can't believe it has been so long... let's see Christmas came and went, then New Years, this was the first New Years that Maddie spent with friends instead of me.... kinda weird...lol we did phone each other tho'. New Years, we played games, ate too much laughed tons and ended the night with rock band, somewhere around 3 am ish..... and last weekend I had a few scrap girlies over for the weekend scrapapalooza.... so there was fun in these missing days..... just no blogging....

Vampires vrs Kittens

So Dean left me a message that he had a blog post regarding the pile of DVD's that we have watched this week... and what I thot he was going to blog about was completely different than what he did...so lol I am blogging what I giggled about when I saw the pile. As Dean wrote some of the choices were National treasure, Pirates of the Carribean, both Great movies, both Disney and both kinda puppies and kittens... well NOT really but... then the other movies in the pile are Serial Killers, and vampires and I had to laugh... I wonder if people could guess which movies I picked and which ones Dean picked??

The DVD pile. Lots of good stuff there. If you haven't seen The Bone Collector - go rent it. A great watch. Can you go wrong with Angela and Denzel?

Can't wait for Pirates 4 - coming May 2011!

Also apparently National Treasure 3 is coming out in 2011.

When is the next Bond film coming out? Do I care? I miss Pierce Brosnan. He's the only one that can even hold a candle to Sean Connery, the best Bond of all.

Men In Black - looking forward to seeing Will Smith in the prequel to I Am Legend.

From Dush Till Dawn - George Clooney's first movie I think. I liked him in Up In The Air this year. I would like to see another Ocean's 11 sequel. I still haven't seen the original Ocean's 11.

We also had a work gift exchange where 3 secret letters held the rules and the fate of our gifts... it was the white elephant game where you choose a wrapped gift or steal.... nasty lol there is always a gift in high demand that goes around the room the most. This year it was the Sizzix embosser. In the end, Gloria got it, it was a tough battle tho'!
