Hello fellow readers... I'm on a rampage and I thot I'd share my frustration! Maddie ordered a costume online, and we waited patiently for delivery day, BUT... before that day arrived, Maddie just happened to google reviews for the company we ordered from... OH NO!! there was some panic.... some tears.... and some frustration.... we discovered that the web site we ordered from was very misleading, and had actually used a picture from another website to sell their fake product!! Can you say LIVID!! Yes I can too ....

crappy sewing job

this Zipper is supposed to be buttons, and the fabric is supposed to be the softest fleece you can imagine... instead it's scratchy workman cloth???

the stupid tail is red .... not brown like the real Pikachu's and it's a mile long???? also where are the zigzags???... getting madder as I type... ( lol )

Would the real Pikachu please stand up... but I must end with a happy note, because Maddie caught it in time, we ordered the real costume from a different company, it arrived in 5 days from Japan, and it is perfect!!! Now the fight is on to get our money back from Milanoo.com also known as BUYER BEWARE!

Pumpkin Piessssss

Last Saturday there was a pumpkin hunt in our area. I worked on Saturday so I just ran quickly thru and grabbed a nice fat pumpkin......

Now it is a PIE.... or 2 or 3 :-) Moi hahahahaha

Ghosted!

This morning VERRRRRY early the doorbell rang frantically??!! Can't be Maddie she has her key on her phone, so it's pretty hard to forget it?? We weren't sure?? Dean got up and was gone about 3 minutes.... I didn't hear any talking. Then he walks into the bedroom smirking and says "we've been ghosted" It took about half hour for my curiosity to get the better of me, good thing I'm not a CAT! So I go downstairs and there is a poem with a ghost and a bucket of goodies... we have to ghost 2 other people before Halloween, and hang our ghost on the door so we don't get ghosted again. It will be fun to see how many ghosts are on the doors by the 31st.

:-) Just so all my friends remember.... if you have to wake us up early... a bucket of goodies seems to make us forget what time it is lol... Happy Ghosting!

The ScrapBox

It took a few hours on Saturday.... ok alot of hours to assemble the scrapbox....

progress, I didn't hear any swearing from the garage so I assumed all was well.....

complete! On Sunday it took almost as long to fill up the scrapbox, or try and fill it, there are still empty drawers and I was putting stuff away I had in containers, every scrap I could find, All 4 rolly carts are on those shelves! I tried to fill it as best I could! Now the fun part... scrapbooking!

I forgot to take a pic of it closed, I'll so that after the workers leave today.

Halloweening with Di

So lately it's been all work and no play...lol Today me and Dianne booked a playdate, with some spooktacular fun ahead... Di said she found some stores she wanted to show me, and I was a willing participant to be whisked away on an adventure....

First stop was Sunny Side.... yes the garden center... and OMG!!!! IT was fabulous!! Everything was 75% off... so I got a huge bag full of stuff for 20 bucks!!!!!!! WAY TO GO DI!!!!

except for the spider attack , the day was great!!

in my glory.... so many choices!

then down 17th to a very cool store that had a dream Halloween lamp... 450.00 ( hey I said dream ) and all the Halloween town ceramic houses.... way too kewl!!

then to Reids... I love this store, very kewl Halloweeny items

off to Value Village for some costume ideas.....

and then lunch.... we went into this little Vietnamese restaurant, but after getting our menu, and looking around at no other patrons, we were concerned... then the smell of cigarettes wafted in as the door to the pool room opened.... we closed our menus and left.... FAIL!

down the street a new restaurant opened, we walked in and it smelled yummy so we ordered and had a yummy lunch :-)

Then homeward to display my goodies.... thanx Dianne, that was an awesome adventure :-)

the Primer

Don't ask me what this means... but the Primer is gray... I've never seen primer this color before, the painter said it's because of the paint color I picked?? On the can it says..... bright Yellow??? hmmm I wonder.... lol

Witchy woman

It started with a boot..... I had these boots in the garage sale.... cause in case you didn't notice, I like clunky soled shoes.... and these pointy little boots just didn't cut it.... but then a light bulb went off...... these could be witch shoes..... da da dummmmm .. and a witch was born...



then the legs.......

the girls at work keep saving me the stuffing on stock days and this is one of the uses for it... nobody can tell me I don't "re-use" she isn't very pretty in this pic.... well she never gets pretty, but.... you don't get to see the finished witch until after the 30th.... cackle cackle!

oh, and the garage is still under construction... next highlight... paint!

Garage day??

I forget what day the garage is on.... not soon enuff..... as I look around the house at all the boxes and the countdown to Halloween is getting smaller.... I am getting nervous.... EEEEK!!
But there are walls now, the electrician came and did his magic yesterday, and today the drywall. Next mudding and paint..... tick tick tick.....
