Epcot

Today is Epcot day, since our shuttle bus takes us to Magic Kingdom every day, and we have to transfer from there, we figured we'd pop into Magic Kingdom and get on a ride or 2.

our hotel has a continental breakfast every morning, but they have eggs, a waffle maker you just pour the badder into, toast, all kinds of stuff, it's the best non served breakfast I've ever seen!! Our shuttle arrives at 7:30, time for a quick bite and off we go...

Magic Kingdom, the first stop was Splash Mountain, we went there first to get in line and were about 10 minutes away, but they said the ride had technical start up issues and it would be a few minutes, then they came back and said it may be awhile because they had to call an electrician. :-( we were denied our Splash Mountain ride....over to Tomorrow land we go.
haha just because Dean loves to be in the spotlight.... (NOT) this trip he gets picked out all the time. We went to the Monsters Inc. stage comedy show, and the screen characters interact with the audience, people asked questions and Mike would answer ect, but they singled out Dean and made references to him thru out the show, and put the camera on him, so he was bigger than life on screen, everytime they showed him, they said "except for that guy"
at the end he got to wear a sticker that said " I was "that Guy" in the Monster's inc show"

MYTHBUSTERS: they don't sell beer in Disney - FALSE!
they sold all kinds of beer in the park, and not just in Epcot, it was all over the place. This was Epcot in an English pub, it's a Creamy Ale, I had some kind of berry, beer, concoction that the bartender made me... it was good tho'

over to Morocco Maddie found a Fez to try on.

denied again, we kept making wrong ride choices today, when we got to the park we had to choose between 3 rides to get a fast pass. Test Track had a 70 minute wait so we got that pass. We went to check out the world showcase and then were going to get a "soarin' pass" and go on Test Track. Soarin' was sold out for the day.... just on the other side of the doors to test track the rain started, the typical pour for 15 minutes as hard as it can rain, and the ride was shut down... first for 10 minutes, then 20, maybe longer, then we left.... 3 rides denied today!

we did get into Mission Space, I wussed out and got the green ticket, the non spinning ticket.... I remember this ride from before, give me any kinda roller coaster, but put me in a virtual ride and I get dizzy, this one, really badly, so I opted for the non-spinning ride, it's still cool, and I don't want to run to the nearest bathroom after, so, yes I jammed, but I'm ok with that :-)

Maddie in front of Germany, trying to find our next destination. Maybe she'll be luckier than me in picking?
