free day

Today was a free day. We planned to have a sleep in day  somewhere in the middle of the trip, today was that day. We are usually such night owls, but at home we don't walk for 10 hours straight lol so we get tired before 1AM ! Anyway, we went to Target, I found a kewl halloween decoration, now to get it home in one piece???

 Maddie saw cute jammies, but they were all so long. so she didn't get any.

since the first time we came to Orlando this store has haunted me and  Maddie, we usually wiz by this wizard on the shuttle and can never get to it on our own. this time we rented a car.... so we got to go finally, we have been pawing at the windows since 2003, and today we got to go... lol lunchbag let down, I'm all for the typical tourist but this stuff was beyond tacky! Crude sayings on shirts, and underwear, beer bottle lamps.... and just awful stuff lol so we left.... but now it is checked off the list with NO repeat beside it!!!

next door to our hotel is a grocery store that was more entertaining than the wizard lol this sand castle for the Carona ad is real. They actually have a sand castle in the middle of the store!!

me and Maddie got to play in the pool.... briefly. We got home, changed.... opened the door and it was raining... but we were going swimming so who cares.... so we went we got a few laps in but then the thunder and lightening... out of the pool we came... one good thing, I got caught up on the blog :-)

it poured so fast and hard it felt like hail, but no hail, just huge drops.

for supper tonight we got to go to one our fave places... TGI Fridays, all year they taunt us with emails, and now we got to go :-) we love the food here.

Dean had steak cooked perfectly, I had scrumptious pasta and so did Maddie.

and for dessert, big enuff for 4?? Our waiter was so cute, he brought us our dessert handed Maddie a spoon, then Dean then me, and then he held a spoon for himself with a big smile waiting to dig in.... it was really funny :-) after our feast, me and Maddie got our swim in. Then we turned in fairly early for tomorrow adventure..... next stop.... Animal kingdom
