By a freak of timing, Selena, Maddie and I were all home for the launch of the space shuttle Endeavour. After five missed attempts, Endeavour finally was able to launch. I witnessed the first space shuttle launch in April 1981. 28(!) years later, it is still fascinating. I guess Endeavour was waiting for all of us to be home so we could all witness it's launch together. Haha. If you missed it, here it is in HD!
