We Want to Visit Corner Gas!

They had us at "What do you mean? Like topographically?"

We were a little late in picking up this show but very glad we did. It is awesome.

I was a little surprised to hear on 660 News last week that the mayor of Rouleau (the fictional home of Dog River) was complaining that the set for Corner Gas is boarded up and in a sorry state of disrepair. What a great tourist destination this would be. It was going to be number two in our "Road Trips that Could Suck" series. This was Number One in the series.

The Leader Post photographs the mayor of Rouleau, Allen Kuhlmann, in front of the
abandoned Corner Gas set.

This could become one of the great tourist destinations that thousands have come and would come to see. It is really surprising that the production company is missing this can't-miss opportunity to create a great tourist destination. It would also be a great tribute to this hilarious original canadian show. We would drive the 8 hours to get there.
