We haven't seen much of New York yet. We went for Sushi and then walked around our block, down one way we saw the Empire state building and down the other way the Chrysler building, it should be really easy to walk around Manhatten, everything seems to be close! Tomorrow we get our "hop on hop off" tickets we pass landmarks, and we get off the bus and can stay as long as we want there, then hop on the next bus. It will be a nice change from Washington's tour where they said ok, you have 20 minutes then get back on the bus. Our hotel is 3 streets over from Madison Ave. and we are 1 street away from Park, ( I feel like playing Monopoly. In every city they have a City Monopoly game I wonder what they have here??)
You can tell your in New York when... you get in the taxi and it has bullet proof glass, a charge machine in the back so the driver doesn't even have to collect, and the cars honk when you are 1 second longer at a light. But it is beautiful and I look forward to tomorrow's adventure!!
